    Default Common Loon with Chicks

    EOS-1D Mk IV, 500mm f/4, 1/640, f/8, ISO 400
    Full Frame

Photographed last week in Northern Michigan during one of Chas' Loon Workshops.

Removed two small lens flare spots and toned down the BG quite a bit.

Looking forward to your comments and critiques !

Very pretty ! Birds look sharp with nice detail. Wish BG was a bit smoother but still lovely.

    Mike:

Nice to get both chicks up at the same time. Nicely exposed.

    Cheers

This makes me ache for Northern lakes. Just as sweet as can be and I love, love, love the way the one chick seems to be whispering to it's sibling. Beautiful.
