    I was doing macro when i suddenly saw this beautiful bird sitting on a brench. Quickly changed from my macro to tele and took 2 pictures before it flew away.

    Canon eos 30d with canon 300mm f4 and 1,4 extender

    I like the composition here, BG is nice too. might clone out the leaves in the lower left corner, only drawback is bird is small and doesn't show detail, good image overall TFS.

    Image can work move the bird to the UR Most of these are about feel and you don't need a razor sharp bird

    will re post my crop in a few minutes !! ... btw can tweak bird even further, just removed a couple of branches and cropped !

    Like the BG- AL's repost improves - composition works much better.

    Hi Thijs, I like the backround and simple composition. Al's repost gave the image more strength and allowed the viewer to zero in on the bird more effectively. The pleasing backround adds alot to this image...

    Thanks for the comments and the repost! I already cropped alot, so i didn't dare to crop more, but i see I don't lose that much quality
