    Newcastle Harbor, Ontario, Canada

    Nikon D300 ,Nikkor 200-400mm f/4G ED-IF AF-S VR
    1/1250s f/5.6 at 400.0mm iso200
    hand held, natural light, 70% of ff
    Basic PS, levels and sharpening.

    Thanks to my friends in Whitby for a fun afternoon shoot these speedsters!

    I would love a bit more sharpness in the eyes. I hear about the high ISO capabilities of the D300 and D3. You could have tried a higher iso say ISO 400. It would have helped in freezing the wings.

    A good flight capture !!! Agree on the increase in ISO With the current crop of clean ISO cameras why not take advantage I

    I like the sharpness and detail Would have liked better shadow detail particularly around the neck and chest area Excellent capture !!!!

    Hey Raymond, I like it a lot; those guys are bullets. I would crop a bit from the bottom and get rid of the big highlight in front of the eye. One of my two favorite wing positions and I sort of like the blurred wings that imply motion.

    Ray, this is a fantastic capture my friend. I like the motion in the wing and I might of opted for more iso and a little more ss, great as is though:)
