    Troy,

    I like the strong partial side-lighting on the bird and how it makes the detail in the feathers stand out. That required a high shutter speed thus giving you a dark BG with is like. Just the right amount of room below for the virtual feet. Central framing works well due to the head position.

    Looks good Troy Would only suggest softening the edges of the bill's shadow on the body !! Super IQ !!!

    Very nice capture Troy. Lots of details in your capture. HA, BG, Eye contact just very nice.

    Agree with above comments. Overall the image is very well handled and an excellent representation of the species.

    Troy, great colors, pose, and reflection.
    The dark water and BG really make this pop.
    I don't mind the shadow at all.

    Hi Arah Was not talking about the shadow but the hard edges on the shadow :)
