    This was a surprise. I was waiting for the bee-eaters to wake-up and here it comes a kingfisher, which is very rare to see in that area. Shot at 1/400 f5.6 +2/3 at 1600iso, 1D MkIV + 800/5.6. Thanks for looking, Giulio

    very well done, nice dof to cover the entire bird., colours are unreal!

    Saturation looks good as I can see detail int he blues and orange. The BG is to die for. I suggest selectively sharpening the bird some more.
