    Default Bald Eagle

Really bummed about the branch across the tail on this. Tried to work several angles with the light, but finally had to take a "lesser of evils" approach and let the branch across the tail be the one. It's a pretty big image, so I may just take a head/shoulder crop out of it and be done. Another comp that I thought worked a bit was backing it out almost all the way and including a lot more of the dead tree.

Canon 1DsMII, 600mm f/4L set to IS mode 1, f/6.3, 1/500, ISO 100, off the BLUBB from my car window.

I wish the branch weren't there as well. However it is a great image as is. I like the head turn and the sharpness could cut your finger!

Like the pose - and the branch can be removed with a bit of patience

Good head turn and sharp. Repost better but still a cluttered perch and the whites are a bit hot on the face... I love bright overcast for these guys.

Nice pose. If you do go the branch removal route, I'd also loose some of the ones on the left.
