    Default Greeting the newcomer

One of the younger elephants coming in to greet the mother of a very small calf. Lewa WC, April 2008. The mother has a strange light colour to her left hand face, not sure what it is so decided to leave it. Don't mess with nature.

Hilary - like the image and the interaction. Almost missed the baby in the middle, where's the lawnmower tool? :D Only thing I might try is to lighten the shadow on the elephant on the left's face.

    Rachel

    Hi Hilary

Like the interaction, might have liked a little more of the elethin on the left (elethin vs elefat for the big ones :) ). Image looks sort of unbalanced?

Regarding the face wouldtreaat according to use, documenting leave alone but fix for printing .... As presented it does not detract !!

Nice image depicting their behavior Hilary, the white patch on mum could be from a salt lick calcium deposit?
