    Me too. This looks like spotted deer (Axis axis).

    Like the composition of this a lot. The colours look like they are from a fairy tale … comes from seeing to many wildlife pix from dusty, dry old Africa. Very nice.

    Excellent Sid. Does look like a fairy tale. Which ranch is this from. .... Don't look like Razor ? ... Btw reedy to go back but will wit for fall. Mosquitoes/ heat must be unbearable :)

    Hey Sid... this looks great. I like your overall comp and the inclusion of the opening in the trees in the upper right portion of the frame.

    Sid, beautiful comp and DOF effect here. a round on USM on the deer will make it better IMO.

    Yes, the deer looks like its from India but the habitat not so much :-)

    Yes, they are from India. There are many places in Texas and Florida where they raise Axis bucks and Black buck antelopes for recreational hunting. This buck was photographed in Florida on a private ranch.

    From unofficial sources, State of Florida and Texas combined has more black buck population than India.
