At first I discarded this one (good thing did not delete:)) because the
bird was too small in the frame. After the comments about my previous
    P. Martin post I decided to revisit and I actually managed to get
decent IQ from a huge crop.

    CC appreciated.

This one works much better for me. Like the light and the pose and IQ looks good at least.

Good color and lighting. I like the gradient background too.

BTW, a bunch of these guys put on an aerial show for me one evening a couple of weeks ago as I cut the grass on my lawn tractor. The grass was on the high side (with lots of weeds and clover) and as the mower kicked up the bugs, the birds swooped in and picked them off! It was fun to watch.:D

Nice work, Ilija. I like the way the bird stands out from the beautiful blue/green background.

looks very good Ilija, shouldn't have any problem producing high IQ cropped images with D700, just need to have tack sharp focus!

Nice detail and the exposure looks very good for the blue/black back. Pose and BG very nice.

Great IQ indeed Ilija! Love the graduation in the BG following the bird's position. Excellent stuff mate! :)
