    These American white pelicans are affectionately referred to as salt water swans by some of the locals. The sunrise is responsible for those colors. Taken in Indian River County. Thanks for looking!

    Canon 40D, Canon EF 600mm f/4L IS USM, EF 1.4x II extender
    1/400s @ f/8.0, ISO 400, 840mm
    Gitzo carbon fiber tripod, Wimberely head

    Very pretty image shawn and I love the lighting. A pleasing composition and good exposure. It is great that you were able to capture all three in focus. thanks for sharing.

    I love the peach color of the water and the faint pink light on the pelicans.

    You got a nice one there for sure. I wonder what it would look like with more on top and less on bottom. The reflections don't really add to it so I would be tempted to have more space behind the subjects rather than in front.

    A real beauty! The only thing I would change is cloning out the dark streak in the water running from the front bird to the edge. Beautiful colors!
