hi Roy - Well done with the slow SS - is sharp - can be done but does take practise.
Lots to like here - exposure looks good - good ha and nice clear sharp eye.
Wouldn't have minded seeing a landscape version as well with a bit more water for him to look out over.
    Good show :)

Hi Roy Was thinking the same, landscape ...want to see what that bird is up to !! Love the overall setting and feel !! btw would try one of the curves pre sets and see... was thinking of linear contrast A small boost might help, not much since you want to keep the overall feel.

Hi Roy. Lovely shot. Lance and Al hit the two things that I thought of when I looked: room to the right and some contrast on the bird. Like the pose and sharpness (esp @ 1/50).

Nice shot Roy, like the vert., but landscape sounds interesting to me. I might add a bit more black to the neutrals. Might crop to just below the dark line at the top too. Great find, I am never able to get close to one of these guys.

Very nice one, Roy. Super sharp and a greta eye. I like it as a portrait maybe just a little off the top.

Hi Roy, good advice given above. I like the crop idea and the contrast boost. In the current image you have a good pose and detail. As shown I would also take a bit off the top...
