Green Cay was full of Egrets and Tri-colors fishing. This one decided to take a nice break and pose for me.

    Techs: D80, f/11, 1/1200sec, ISO400, -0.7EC, FL 300mm, CWA, Shutter Priority.

    C/C appreciated!

    Hi Oscar

Got a good looking bird and clean bg, like the inclusion of the leaves at the bottom.

Try to keep the bird away form the center of frame, move back some and need to brighten !! Will come back in a few an re post !! As presented the image is under exposed, check histogram and probably there is not much on the last box to the right !!

Just a quick fix.. btw feather detail looked kind of mushy? Posting from laptop, maybe someone can take it further !!! ... all I did was set the white/black point with levels and a slight curve adjustment

Nice pose and I just wish for a cleaner FG. It would have been great with just water, but really hard to get ideal shots.
