    Default Boat-billed Heron III.

Here is onr more Boat Billed Heron, this time without the use of flash, so you can see the eye, Artie. I darkened the BG in Photoshop and shortened the right side of the perch. Maybe it should be in the Out of the Box forum....you decide.

Neat effect. I like the feather bit stuck at the tip of the bill. I do wish this guy was angled a bit more towards you (or at least the head). I don't know how long that shortened branch was, but I'm sure it wasn't that bad longer?

Good detail captured here Lorant, and the darkened BG makes him stand out very well.

I like this version, the details in the bird are better and the dark BG adds to it. There are some grayish streaks in the BG that I would remove.

Great one, I like the dark BG and the bird is excellent, agree with Dan
about just a tiny bit of HA toward the camera.

Nice contrast with the BG brother! Lovely, calm pose. Nice and sharp. I cannot ask for more. :) Well done.
