Default Creativity: Pelicans with rim light

40D. 400f5.6 at f/6.3. iso 320. 1/1600s. I did try making a full silhouette...but thought this one looked better. There are so many options here and hence, I'd like to get your views. Thx in advance.

I like the idea, interaction and mood. It would be interesting to see it as full silhouette, too.

Axel, I dont have it. I will go back to the raw file and create it when I get the time. This one's an older file.

    Thx for the feedback.

Kaustubh, what I can see here is a full silhouette, and leaving just the rim light around the pelicans.

I kinda like it like this, but you could render the darkest shaded areas even darker. I do like the hint of light hitting certain spots of the pelicans (neck and wing of left bird, and lower mandible of right one). I would eliminate the thin OOF dark band skimming along the top of the frame, and also tone down the dark line touching the right bird's hairdo. Good stuff!

Another vote for darkening the silhouettes, KD and maybe even cropping tighter on the two sides.
    Thanks for participating :)
