I went to a new birding spot yesterday, and came away with plenty of these Grey headed gulls.

Good-looking bird, good sharpness and wing position. I would tone down the whites and wish the bird were angled toward you a little more.

    Well caught Stuart,

I like the fact that the near wing has totally obscured the far wing. The catchlight is good as well.

    Cheers

Ditto Axel on the whites and bird's angle. Nice wings-down pose, and very sharp as posted (ditto Axel again!):)

Stuart, The pale blue BG is a nice addition to the image. I like the wing position and sharp details.

Great exposure, sharpness and nice pose. Pitty that the bird is angled away from you. Well done.

Angle could be better, but you have captured the detail, exposure, and nice down wing position well. Really like the eye ring. TFS
