    Default Creativity - Chinese painting

From my last trip to Everglades National Park, Florida. Water reflection of anhinga.
Almost from camera, just rotated to 180 degree, added a toning and grain in post-production and resized for web. I'm don't know if toned and bw images are allowed here... if not, please delete it.

    Canon EOS 5D Mark II + 300/2.8L (1/200, f/3.5, ISO 200), handheld.

I like the idea and pose but wish there were fewer branches obstructing the bird.

I like the added grain and you did a nice job w/ the toning. Pretty cool looking for a reflection. The image does
    appear busy.:)

I might add a bit more to the blacks but overall I like the feel on this one.

Vladimir, I really like the look you have created. The toning is very nice and the grain really adds to the mood. Agree about wishing there were fewer branches.

Hi Vladimir, welcome to OOTB! This is a very nice concept and look. Agree that less busy would be nice and more consistent with a Chinese style. I find some of the out of focus elements a bit distracting but I like the overall feel.

Great vision. Love the mood. There should be a good spot to crop from the bottom.....

Thanks Kerry! This is a water reflection, so it it very hard to get sharpness on the bird. And processing is too minimal... I don't like process my images :)

Vladimir, welcome to OOTB! This really does have an ancient oriental feel to it that is very nice.
