This is a beauty, Fabs. The handover, and both adults pointed in the right direction. Great timing, comp, and exposure. I also like the shellscape they are all standing on. Excellent!

Very cool! I like the interaction, mood, composition, exposure control and we can even see the eye of the fish.

Beautifully done Fabs. I think the pose of the male and the raised foot of the chick along w/the shells make this stand out as special. Not to mention the mother carefully looking on.

This has so many "wows" in it, as mentioned by the others. The low angle and background are terrific.

I have been using the noise reduction in Adobe CAmera Raw. Anyway, whites don't tend to have noise.

    Thanks everyone!

Excellent, for reasons already mentioned. Although I have several other NR programs, I have also had good results with ACR as well, especially if all is needed is minor adjustments. To me your DOF control, with F11, was the technical detail that seems to have been overlooked by previous comments, and was absolutely necessary to create such a remarkable image! regards~Bill

Fabs, good choice of aperture, as all three are in focus. Lovely interaction, well exposed, and your low angle has paid off. Well done.

Great IQ here fabs, loved the moment captured, loved like you directed them to pose this way for the photoshoot. The pose of the other parent adds very well to the Drama...

Of course the "ground" doesn't appear very comfortable after a long walk. I was interested in reading recently that the Least Tern chicks are extremely mobile from the "nest" immediately after hatching, and are apparently very hungry.
