This was taken this past week at Ding Darling. Fortunately it was fairly active this past week with the mudflats arriving in the early mornings.

Excellent composition and sharpness. I love the exposure as well. The reflection, though not perfect, is quite interesting and balances the image out nicely, and certainly should not be cropped out! Very well done. regards~Bill

I love it Judy...especially the trailing wake showing the forward movement. Looks like you had a good time!

Lovely posture, detail, and the comp looks perfect. Maybe bring more out of the dark foot. Excellent image.

Very nice pose on the still water. I think there's a bit of cyan in the water that wool be corrected adding a few points of red in Color Balance. Well done, comadre.

I like the pose and composition in this one. Adding to the other comments, I would decrease contrast a bit.

Super comp, and I like the take off posture with the raised foot. Just love the colours on these guys.

    Judy,
    Very Nice photo
Wish I was there with the Spoonbills!! ...It did look a bit "washed out" (overexposed) a little to me....I added some density - just my opinion...see attached....hope you like the little tweak??:)
    Best,
    Michael

Thanks Michael but these spoonbills were very light in color and there was even a young one that was white which I will be posting. This was taken in the early morning and over exposure was not a problem as it is when it gets closer to nine am. I appreciate you looking and taking the time to repost.

    Best
