Land Iguana

The afternoon sun was beginning to get low enough to light up this guy's yellow coloration when I saw him coming toward me. I desaturated slightly. Not easy to get down to an iguana's eye level, but I tried. C&C welcome.
Fun shot, Bill! I like how the light is just hitting his eye and lighting it up. The low angle is really nice.
Bill - Nice shot. I like the perspective and color. I can't believe how green the BG is. We only saw land iguanas on one island (I think it was North Seymour) but it was very dry, with little vegetation where we saw them. Actually I think we only saw 1 or 2.

Very nice capture. In this case, I would have liked a slightly higher angle to clear the iguana from the foreground some. Great EXP and detail.

Good detail on a colorful subject. Backround is nicely muted but agree on a higher angle to show a bit more of the base of the subject and less of the vegetation...
I like the idea of having a higher angle to clear some of the oof grass Like the setting and that compelling face .. one good looking creature !!!
Thank you all for the comments. It seems like a consensus for a higher shooting angle. I got lots of unobstructed images of Land Iguanas which look sort of ordinary, so I tried here to capture him coming through the vegetation with some purposely oof foreground. I guess it didn't quite come off.
Nice and sharp Bill, I wonder if a crop from the bottom would improve it. Not sure how long his feet are. Love the colours.
