    these birds dont have many places to go anymore because of population explosion in their habitat. so i decided to leave it. why clean it up?

    D300, 50-500 at 230mm, f/11, 1/2500s, ISO 640

    looks like you guys had a great time at Marco Island, i will try to go there this week, it will be my first time there.

    You still sore from the walk???? Got to give it to Fabs, she didn't even broke out one drop of sweat and I was dying. I actually like the Bg on your capture.

    Hi Harold, I like your capture of the skimmer and positioning but to be contrarian I find the backround gives a sense of place but detracts from the skimmer itself...

    Hi Harold, lot of detail in the feathers and my favorite view .. like the bg but I know is not to everyone's liking !! Sweet !!

    Hi Adams its close to a mile ... more or less, colony you can't miss, just go over the lagoon and hang a right !! At high tide does get deep !!

    Hi Harold - I love it - for me the BG just adds so much to the story - I would not EVEN consider removing it.
    Love the wing span and the eye contact.
    Nailed it - IMHO!!

    Since I know the place so well, the habitat just makes sense to me. Nice sharpness and EXP control and good post processing skills.
