Very nice capture of this moment. Setting and angle look good. The blacks could go a bit darker for my taste.

Please keep the 24-hour between images rule in mind. ;)

Sorry, I didn't realize-I thought that the system wouldn't let you in if it was under 24 hours. I should have checked the time on my last post. I will next time. Thank you for reminding me. Feel free to delete this.

Denise, my kind of image :) I love the low angle and the mood is great. Was this Nickerson? And wher are you taking your Piping Plover chick images? I'd love to come over for a few days...:)
    Best,

I like the low angle Denise, and the moment well captured. I also like the softer light in this too.

Very sweet moment; especially like the eye contact between the birds. Agree to darken the blacks a little.

I agree with the others Denise. You captured a nice moment well with good wing and head positioning.

Thank you all very much for the kind words. I did a slight curves adj. and it looked good.
Nicki, This was Nickerson and so were the Piping Plover shots. Come over for sure! :)

Beautiful image, Denise. I love the bits of environment that you have included here. Not overpowering, just enhancing.

Beautiful image, Denise. Love the soft light, positions and action, environment. Blacks look dark on my screen; maybe I need to make another monitor adjustment.

Great image, love the action, birds and comp. Bit more contract would make it even better.

Both birds in great position, excellent exposure and Comp, and I really like all of the vegetation in this one. Very well captured, and the blacks look just fine on my monitor. Excellent work!

First thought is that the shot looks a little overexposed. The crop and behavior captured is very well done.

You did really well with this one despite the fact that conditions were lousy. The contrast looks perfect from here. It might need a bit of CW rotation :)
