    Default Pin-tailed Wydah

I revisited some older files from the beginning of the year and decided to give this a go. On this day is was very overcast, thus I had wished for more ss. I liked the curves in this, and the BG is OOF grass. These guys are very erratic flyers, so to lock focus on them is fairly difficult. I remember this male was chasing a female around the grasslands. This is also my 7000th post.

I like the angle, sharpness, BG and wish the far wing were a bit higher up. I might crop it a bit tighter.

Congrats on post #7000...a very nice one I think. I like the curves as you mention and the background is good and goes well with the subject. Nice action capture -- I can feel the movement in this with a blur at the edges and detail elsewhere.

Congrats on the 7K. I love the tail and the pose very much. Nice pleasing BG also. Maybe just a bit higher in the frame as suggested by Axel.:)

    Techs covered well....

I like how you managed to get separation between the head/eye in spite of the blacks. Killer BG! Well done!

congrats on the milestone mate...I would be VERY happy with this - I don't have any decent Wydah images...head is sharp enough, wing position noted

Stuart, congrats. And thx for all the help you so willingly provide on all my photos. Very impressive and diverse body of work, is yours.

This is a winner. Killer "tail position" if there is a term like that :-)
