    This guy was preening himself just long enough for me to move the kayak into position and get a few shots. Distracting branches were cloned out.

    Kayak, 7D, 500mm, f/4, 1/3200sec, ISO 800

    I like the funny pose, eye contact and BG and wish the light were more even.

    I like the iridescence you caught on the the head, nice eye, and the pose is great. Great background too.

    The light has fallen on the head nicely, showing up the purple iridescence very well. A + EC may have helped to bring out more detail.
