    Default Black Necked Stilt

While going through the files from last year I found this one. It was taken shortly after sunrise.

Hi Lorant, beautiful light along with good detail. Even though the reflection is soft I feel it adds to the quiet mood of the image and gives it some depth. Nicely done...

HI Lorant - love these guys - like the pose an the red eye being clearly visible. Exposure looks good - nice detail in the blacks and whites in check
Reflection is not strong - IMHO works better with it than without!!

    Hi Lorant

Reflections are a personal thing and subjective, no right or wrong in this area. I like it as presented and think that it makes one elegant image, which you are good at making !!! About all I would do is try to lessen the dark mass in top/front of the bird !! Like the image a lot !!!

Veryelegant, Lorant. Nice light and details. I like it both with and without the reflection.

    Lorant, Beautiful image!

After reading Al's post and looking back, I can see how working the dark spot might improve an all ready fine image.

Very photogenic birds and you captured it well.

Very nice feel to the photo.

I also like Alfred's idea of toning down dk area in bg.

    Nice shooting angle.
