    From this AM. Cloudy and overcast. Image was "warmed up" a bit and cropped for comp. as well as removing a white shell in the FG.

    800 ISO f5.6 at 1/2000th

    I like the placement of the bird low in the frame. You've got good eye contact and a nice view of the eggs. I think you can get a little more detail out of the blacks. I might consider a slight crop off the top.

    nice perspective to get everything in. the eye looks like it might need a little cleaning up next to the catchlight. would make it look sharper. and i think it could go a little brighter too. hope you dont get lambasted like i did for photographing terns on eggs!

    Really love the comp and the head turn here, the really clean foreground and background is totally sweet...

    I could also see, this as a tighter crop in square format in a contrasty Black and White...

    Really like this joe...

    Nice job w/ this Joe. Good advice already given. I like the head turn and the visible eggs make this special. The sand area looks good.

    With that said, you got a very nice image here and would consider cropping a bit off the top.
