    That grackle is a brave one! I've also seen great-tailed grackles harassing raptors here. Very nice BG and light. Nice to see both birds with spreaded wings.

    The kite seems to have had another extraordinary encounter within the food chain. What a remarkable shot it would be to observe a feather plucked.
