    1D MKIII
    300 mm 2.8 + 1.4TC
    1/250
    f/5.0
    iso 320

Converted with ACR and processed with CS4. Cloned out a sprig of grass that went across the lower part of the frame. NR on BG. This was approximately 60-70% of the full frame prior to resizing for the web.

I wish I had captured a clean view of the feet but they were buried in the grass so I went for a portrait type of crop.

Hi Joel - id maybe post the one including the feet and let the viewers decide.
Does kinda look a bit funny without them - the inclusion of the grass might not be a bad thing - IMHO.
Anyway - this is sharp as a tack - Good HA and really eyeballing you.
    BG Compliments the bird nicely.

Hi Joel, nice light, backround and sharp. I too would like to see the feet but you can always crop the image and make it more of a portrait...

Hi Joel Might have gone for the 2X and made it tighter .. normally cropping that way makes the bird look strange !! .. could also lighten the bright spots in the bg !!! All else looks mighty fine !!!

If this were mine, I'd probably crop a bit tighter over the feet. The chest is so big, the little legs look like the give little support :)
Very nice head angle and EXP control, TFS.

Hi Joel, I think it's an improvement! This is totally subjective but I might go just a little higher on the crop...
