Default Creativity: Mute Swan at sunset

40D. 400 f5.6L wide-open. iso 640. 1600s. camera was set up this way because the swan was sitting in the shade. Didn't get time to change ISO.

Hope you like it. All C&C welcome.

I like this, the warm light, BG and even the fluff on the bill add to the mood. Composition looks good, too.

I like this too and ditto Axel on the fluff. Really nice sun kissed look to the face :)

Kaustubh, super comp, and as long as the warm light is cast on the swan's head, you have achieved your object. Lovely curve to the neck too.

I would personally have prefered the whole neck be lit, but I still like the image alot...looks like it is trying to peek over whatever object is casting that shadow:). Nice mottled BG too.

Very nice spotlight effect on the very sharp head, KD, great whites and nice neck pose. Way to go and thanks for participating on the project.
