    Default Incoming Roseate Spoonbill

This is one I made at Alafia Banks when James Shadle took us there on his boat. This bird landed somewhat unexpectedly in the shade and I was not set up for it. The original was underexposed because of that.

    1D4, 500f4, 1/1600s, f/5.6, ISO 400, manual exposure

Seems a bit grey on my monitor. I like the pose and the underwing details.

Good wingspread for the landing posture, and I like the leaning head. We dont get these colours on our spoonbills, so Ive always enjoyed these Roseate spoonbills.

Beautiful. Loved the crop. very strong comp...the bill line intersecting the corner. Excellent shooting angle, Axel.

Thanks, Kaustubh! We were standing in the water, which was almost up to the waist. :)

Looks very good Axel, nice pose and good details, might tone down the brighter reflections on the water.

Axel, if it was underexposed you mad a very good recovery of the image. Nice detail, indeed and good pose.

Nice landing pose and details. You did well recovering the dark pixels. I wish the ring was not there.

Sweet contrasting colors and wing spread landing, habitat, all green works for me.
