Incoming Roseate Spoonbill

This is one I made at Alafia Banks when James Shadle took us there on his boat. This bird landed somewhat unexpectedly in the shade and I was not set up for it. The original was underexposed because of that.

Good wingspread for the landing posture, and I like the leaning head. We dont get these colours on our spoonbills, so Ive always enjoyed these Roseate spoonbills.

Thanks, Kaustubh! We were standing in the water, which was almost up to the waist. :)
