    Default Boat-billed Heron

I'm in the mood of posting images that I am not sure about. I darkened the BG on this one and cloned some twigs and leaves out.

I like this one a lot. I wish his head was a bit more in profile, as he is one amazing looking bird! I like the dark BG and the way he is framed by the perch.

Hi Lorant - personal tastes also - that beak/bill is such a prominent feature on this guy that I would have liked to see a little more of it also - bit more of a head turn.
Nothing wrong with it as is either - Sharp - good fine feather details and look at those large eyes!! Quite like the dark BG.
    Good show:)

    A very interesting looking bird.
I like the nice exposure with flash and the composition on the diagonal perch.

A slight head turn would have been great.

Hi Lorant, Interesting subject! Good use of flash that created pleasing light that brought out the detail.
Since the bird has an interestingly shaped beak it probably would have shown better with the head turned more rather than it merging with the body. It's still a good representation...

One cool looking character !!! About the only thing I can suggest is when finding a beauty like this worked and get as many images as you can !! Like the PS treatment !!
