Default Project Creativity - Neotropical Cormorant

Created in December, 2008 while staying near Varadero, Cuba. Slight crop from left and top sides.

I realise that the eye is centered but I think that the bird's body position leads viewer's eye to circel the body and arrive at the eye.

Canon EOS 40D, Sigma 50-500mm at 500 mm, 1/320, F6.30, ISO 160 Flash - Flash fired, Compulsory flash mode

Composition and light look good, if the eye were a bit opened it would be easier to draw the viewer's attention.

I never worry about the eye being centered if it means having more room in front of the head than behind it. Nice peaceful sleeping pose, Stephen.

Very nice pose and colors, Stephen, eye fell where it needs to fall. Beautiful colors and thanks for being part of the project.

Thank you Axel, Dan and Fabs. Axel I think that I may have another image that has the eye at least partially open. I'll remember that suggestion for next time.
