    Default Fighting Frigates

    I had said I would post a shot of Fighting Frigate birds I took on Genovesa Island in the Galapagos. Unfortunately, they were in the middle of a bush and while I was shooting them my 50D totally died (short circuit in the motherboard) so I only got a few shots and none of them wider. This is definitely more of a record shot but I thought some of you might be interested in seeing this behavior. We were amazed they did not pop their sacks. They went at it for several minutes. Given that this is more of a record shot I did not do much in PP.

    Hi Rachel ... can add for these try getting as close as possible to shorten the focal length (extend dof) and stop down as much as possible (... extend dof) !! Great interaction, must have been one impressive sight 1!

    Thanks Al. Unfortunately limited to the path in the Galapagos and there were bushes between me and them but I understand your point. Thanks again.
