    Taken today while out for a stroll along the river Stort. I was sitting on a lock gate talking to a guy out walking his dog when I spied this robin over the guys shoulder, about 10 feet away.

    1DMK3, 100-400 @ 400, f5.6 ISO500. Hand held

    I Iike the tight composition and the pose,I would prefer a more uniform bg

    Great in your face pose. The BG doesn't bother me at all, but I would probably burn the edges a little to keep the attention on the center of the frame.

    A little busy for my taste, and the pruned off branch is unfortunate (so is the broken off branch LR). Cute inquisitive pose on the robin...looks likes it needs a gentle grooming!!
