Love the alert pose. The bird is a bit too centered for my taste; I'd crop a bit off the right. I might also have eased up on the flash just a little. Overall very nice though.
Great find, I've never seen one in bright daylight. Another vote for putting the bird further to the right in the frame.
Actually taken at 11pm with flash.
