Nest with eggs

This was taken recently during my search for avocet adults and chicks. It is, I believe, a typical avocet nest, placed in the open on a flat piece of ground. I intentionally aimed from a bit above the nest, and cropped to indicate where and how the nest is constructed. Both male and female sit on the eggs; both were taking a very brief break.

Nice find Wendell! The eggs don't seem to be in sharp focus. I would probably put them in the center of the frame, and I might burn the foreground a little.
