    Taken a couple days ago

    Nikon D300s, Sigma 80-400mm F4.5/5.6 OS Lens
    ISO 800, SS 1/1000, F5.6
    Manual Mode, Handheld

    Very nice feather display with lots to see in the plumage. I like the eye contact and EXP control, a bit tight in the frame.

    Hi Cory, I also like the detail,HA,muted backround and even lighting. I agree the image is too tight in the frame...

    Hi Corey - techs look solid and not bad for ISO 800 from the d300s!!
    Agree that its a little tight in the frame - otherwise looking good.

    Keep them coming and dont forget to comment on other peoples images.

    Agree on above comments, can add I would lighten the left side of the face a bit more, tone down the greens ( a little) and do give it more room as suggested !!!

    Extra room on the repost looks good.

    I like the pose and composition.
    You may want to try a bit of additional sharpening on the bird. It looks like it may handle it.

    Nicely done.
