fabs posted a sticky in avian for folks to post something creative, different or maybe just not normal. went through my files from last week and found this one i thought was pretty far out there. the skimmer was coming in for a landing on a slope. i actually accentuated the slope a little more by 1.5 degrees. didnt do much else except cleaned up one grass protruding on the left frame edge. what's really cool to me is that at the original size the catchlight is a starburst!!

D300, 120-400 at 400mm, f/5.6, 1/3200s, ISO 400, manual exp.

Works well, like the crop, slope landing and direct eye contact !! ... bg not bad at all !! Different and works !!
