    lovely image....... great angle..... the OOf BG seaweed does not detract from subject... maybe a little more head room.... with a little more PS work .... some saturation /sharpening .. and you will have a very nice image....

    Bill I like the lighting on this bird but it could do to have the head turned more to the right and the camera. The image also looks like it could do with some CCW rotation to straighten the water up.

    I wish he was looking at you or at least a profile view. It does not work for me as presented.

    I like it as is, but I think it would be stronger if we had something off in the distance that the bird is more obviously looking at. A hint of the sun or some color in the sky reflected into the water.
