Default Holga - Zenit Camera Image

This is an original image taken almost 40 years ago, "with all I could afford at the time", out of date, Kodacrome 64 film. I use an old russian Zenit camera (bought used for 25$). I've kept the resulting image for sentimental reasons but when the camera didn't work any more I took it apart to see how it worked...LOLOL...needless to say it never went back together.

Scanned this slide and formatted it to meet the Holga look, darkened corners and blurred a bit..but color was how the image turned out using old film.

Paul, My brother use to take apart our bikes-he never did get around to putting them back together, must be a male thing:):p I love the old time look to this image and it is a very believable look.

Hi Paul - spectacularly bad!! - Which of course is now what people find so appealing about the images from these camera's - amazing isn't it!!
Did see the other day - you can now buy a digital camera that attempts to be a digital Holga - bad quality - soft focus etc.
    Eveything old is new again!!!

    Great to see a scan.

Paul, this is great! So neat to see a real scan from a real bad camera. :D If "bad" is now "good", I may be in there!! :)

Thanks everyone for comments, its amazing though isn't it..we're taking images with our new Nikon's, Canon's..etc, which cost thousands of dollars..trying to imitate a 25$ plastic camera with a plastic lens...go figure. Its fun though I have a few images in the works.
