The Bronx Zoo has 3 Lion cubs born in January which are now out on display with the parents. Absolutly adorable!!!!!!!! Tough to get good light as you can't get in before 10AM , but worth going just to see them.

A 'sweet' moment Joe, but can't help feel that knowing it's taken in a zoo, the look says it all.

Nicely composed double portrait. Just wondering about the color. Is there a bluish cast? I don't really know. (And even if there
is, you might prefer it as posted.)

re-post looks real nice Like to know how you did it. I think the color cast was from them being in deep shade.

I used a selective color adjustment layer and a curves adjustment layer on top of that. Whatever adjustment tools you use, just keep the pairs of complementary colors in mind:

    red ... cyan

    green ... magenta

    blue ... yellow

Since this image appears to be a bit heavy on cyan and blue, you need to push red and yellow (the respective complements of cyan and blue).

    Joe, a Wonderful intimate portrait!
The original colors did look a little "off" to me, so I'm glad to see the suggested re-working.
Lots to learn for ALL of us here!
