    I like the intense stare of the egret and the quiet pose. Nice light angle and great exposure job. I think that part of the perch (the out of focus area in the right) is a bit distracting. TFS :)

    I like the look-back pose, sharpness and BG. Some of the whites look quite bright and I might raise the midtones to lighten perch and BG a bit. If it were mine, I would remove the whitewash on the perch.

    Very similar to our Snowy Egret, except for the color of the bill.
    Good critique above, agree with them, the right part of the perch, out of focus, is distracting.

    Good pose and stands out well against the dark BG, Dumay. I would burn in the distracting part of teh perch on the right and tone down the whitewash. Lovely plumage detail and sharp eye.
