    This is a nice sharp image of an interesting bird.

    Kim:

    I would crop a bit off the bottom, eliminating the part just below the horizontal green line. Then if possible I would add more space above and to the right of the bird. There are a couple of small white spots on the right foot that I would remove by cloning. Finally, there is a bluish color cast on the underside of the wing and tail feathers. I would eliminate that in PS by making white and black point, or threshold adjustments.

    I like the inclusion of the grass and eye contact and wish there were more details in the plumage and head/wing separation.

    The light is a bit harsh to my taste but I like the landing pose, the hanging feet and the eye contact. Grasses plays a nice role in the composition

    Kim,

    I can go with the more room in front comment but like top, bottom and rear crop just fine. Agree with Axel that critical sharpness is lacking here.
