As probably everyone noticed I like flamingos :-). Here is one image I especially like for it’s simplicity.
Appart from darkening the BG by 10 clicks in Viveza and pulling out some underwing detail I used the suggested workflow of Desmond from this very interesting thread from the Eager to Learn forum about Oversaturation in sRGB, to tone down the RED. http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...ad.php?t=65431
If you have any input on this topic please join in. I think it will be moved to ER at one point.
Cheers.

Impressive image Lorant Simple, elegant an the perfect bg !! About all I would do is work on the eye a bit and maybe multiply the whites in the head area. I'm sure there are not over just toning them down !
One stunning image and will make an equality stunning print !!! Big Congrats !!
... btw if anyone can add anything to our discussion in ETL please do so !! ... its a good one, great threat !!
Good Morning, Al,
Thank you for your comment. I feel like going to Florida and hang out with you and Fabs and learn all your Photoshop tricks....since I can’t do that I ask you here how I can multiply the whites in the head area? Thanks for helping me again.
I forgot to mention about the photo above. I darkened the pupil a little to have it more visible.
Hi Lorant Simple .... go to select>color range .. a dialog box will come up Place the eye dropper on the white are the adjust the slider to how much you want to include, say ok
... then make a new layer (command J ) and look in the layers pallet for blending modes, default is normal use the drop down menu and select multiply. If its too much you can reduce the opacity.
Will work for other colors and can be done more than once !! All you need is to have pixels there to work !! .. any questions pm !!
Another big fan of falmingos here Lorant :) Yours are more colorfull than our european species. I like the simplicity of this image, the eye contact and the wing position a lot. another vote for toning down the whites in th eface a bit
