    Not to sure about this as it is a large crop, mainly posted because of nice green beak.

    Taken in Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana, 25th April 2010.

    Processed in DPP plus CS5 some gardening to remove branches around borders.

    EOS 1D MkIV

    500mm F4 IS hand held from vehicle

    F8, IS0 400, 1/100, EV +1

    YEs, Ken, the large crop robbed the bird of the plumage detail. PErch not the best either, but is is good to see birds that we don't see often, TFS.

    Arash,

    Thanks for the repost, I will definitely try some more sharpening. I always find it hard to judge just how far you can go without introducing too much grain.

    Hey Ken,
    I like the direction Arash took and you may tweak the sky some as it appears a bit too cyan? Great looking bird so I think it is worth the effort!
