Beautiful cormorant..

Hi Guys

I took this what I would call a 'Technically average' shot of a beautiful cormorant yesterday at a local park in western Australia. I have never seen one with gold patterns on its back like this. Can anyone ID this bird for me? Most of the cormorants I have seen seem to have more of a whiteish pattern on their back. I must go back and get a "technically Better" shot to post...

Actually it's not a cormorant, it's an Australasian Darter; darters are in a different family from cormorants, although they are closely related.
