Just thought I would post something that we tend to see everyday in fields, but pass by, taking it for granted and thinking it's not very photogenic. Well he was IMHO... although some might say it's just a load of BULL.:)

Steve - I agree with the above and also like how the right eye just barely peeks out.

Steve, Where are the full details such as breed and where taken
Good point, you are quite right Ken, naughty step for me. :)

Angus cattle (Aberdeen Angus) are a Scottish breed of cattle much used in beef production. They were developed from cattle native to the counties of Aberdeenshire and Angus in Scotland, and are known as Aberdeen Angus in most parts of the world. On November 21, 1883, the American Aberdeen Angus Association was founded in Chicago, Illinois. :D

Taken in the wilds of Scotland, guess as it was owned by a farmer I guess it should have had a (C) too.;)

You won't believe the next commission I have been given, sadly have to wait a while before that comes off. What is it they say? Never work with animals & children!!!

I think what they say is "never work with animals OR children" but my guess is that you are about to be working with both. Bring reinforcements especially the liquid kind (if you indulge).

Excellent portrait with the selective crop and partially exposed eye.

Sweet portrait Steve !! .... do you have one of the huge horns? Ran into some while in Scotland, looked fierce but got close to one and pet it !!:)

Very nice. Like the way the long hair is covering the face.

    Really cool right eye!

With the hair covering most of the animal you could say "Where's the Beef"! It could also be part of a bovine ENT seminar!!
