Wow, is this a real fight? Well captured, love the golden tones of the water, and also like the blur on the wing tips. I wonder how a more vertical crop would look.

Pretty neat action, I like the bill biting the wing. Good on you to be able to follow the action. The image feels a tad bright overall, perhaps about 1/3 or so less exposure would work well. The ripples and BG reflections suggest a CCW rotation may be in order. I'd also experiment with the WB / Colour Balnce as it looks a bit too yellow/light-green as is (IMO).

Fantastic moment and well captured. In a perfect world both would be facing the camera.

Thanks for the comments. I rotated the image so the line at the bottom of the pic lines up with the edge of the frame. The lines in the bg however confuses me slightly. As to the wb.... the whites seem ok to me:confused:

I think that Daniel hit all my points, sure worth some tweaks as this action is super! Good job capturing it.

Here is a version where I dropped the exposure by 0.38 in LR and cooled it down some. I like the vibrancy of the original but I'm curious to hear your thoughts.

The rotation is still an issue for me.

Pretty sweet action goin gon here. I prefer the original vs. the repost. An image that makes you keep looking to discover what is happening.

Hi Stephen, amazing action captured here, and well timed to get the moment. With regards to the exposure, I prefer your OP. With regards to the rotation, I took a quick grab at it, and hopefully it works ok.

I love the action you captured! I find it very dramatic and captivating. I find the image sharp where it needs to be. I also prefer your original posting due to the vibrance. Perhaps toning down just the brightest white might be worth exploring but I would leave the rest alone. I also like Stuart's leveling adjustment. Incredible action makes this one special for me. Thanks for sharing.
