    These guys are really cute little antelopes. Their size is no bigger than a medium dog. The large eyes serve them well against predators. They are also very fast. Image made in Tanzania this past winter.

    1D4 with and 500mm with 1.4 TC. Evaluative metering at ISO 800 with f 7.1 and 1/1250. Image is about 80% of original.

    One of my favourite animals, the eye is magnicent, it is claimed by many to be the smallest Antelope in Africa. (Suni is the opposition). This animal is proof positive that Africa is not just about the Big 5.

    Given my aversion to roads I would have been tempted to clone it out, but as it is relatively small I do not mind.

    Nice looking animal with a big eye. I enjoy watching the many different types of herbivores from africa. Thanks for sharing.

    I like it Ed Might just placed him a little more to the right side of the frame. ... would have been nice to get a head shot :) It is a good looking animal !!

    You've done really well Ed to get this little guy out in the open, most of mine are partially hidden in scrub.

    You have done well with such a large crop Ed, would agree with Al re crop, but would also like to see a little more below too.

    A delightful and very cute creature. I'd experiment a bit with the crop.
