Default Osprey with nesting material (and a tip)

Got this on thre boat with Al, Fabs and Axel. I like how the Osprey is looking at the camera, given the direction of the light under the wings are in shade, I raised the shadows a bit after selecting the birtd and using HLS in CS5. What is usually more distracting is the sharp shadow line, especially on white feathers. Here I used content aware brush to smoothen the shadow line, fast and works well.

Great picture. Great detail, love the eye contact. the change in the shadow helps. Very good background I would favor a tad more room on the top

Hi Arash Good idea on the use for the tool !! Would go further and sample each side with the clone stamp, might improve? Will find some birds and try the procedure, neat !!

... btw like the direct look best of all, they are special birds !!

Yes, I hate those strong lines. And I was amazed at how good the new S/H tool works in CS5, excellent, no halos unless you really mess it up.
Nice eye contact, I think he is thinking you gonna take his weeds LOL

Sampled from both sides at 25% opacity. That's how I get rid of my shadows.

Hi Arash, image is well handled for reasons stated above. Fabs did a great job in blending the light!Might wish for a bit more room on top...

Shadow line is not there in Fab's repost. Very well done.

I really like the exposure considering the whites on Osprey and exposed details under the wings.

I'd say roughly triple the size of the line.
