Cool looking animal Ken. I really like the strong geometry of the horns with the head on view. Did you get any closer-ups of the head and horns as well, perhaps using a 2x?

You have been busy Ken, with good results. One big beast, in fine condition by the looks of things.

Might give it another round in Curves Ken, as per Al's comment recently, with some more selective USM on the animal only. Would also lose some room of the rhs, just too much dead space for me.

Great points For sharpening the animal quick mask would be faster than sharpening on a layer and erasing the part you don't want !! The other that I have been doing is using the pre-sets in curves !! Worth the effort particularly linear contrast !!!

Have no scale to compare but does look like one massive animal ... and pretty !!!

    Al and Steve,

Just tried the presets they are pretty good here's a repost. With a little crop and some more selective sharpening.

Nice looking animal. A narrow aperture would have been good. Ofcourse, that would have entailed a higher ISO as shutter speed was low. Thanks for sharing.

Your repost has nailed it Ken, a very fine specimen with a good head on view.
